Scope of work
Every engagement is quoted individually after a scoping conversation. No rate cards, no packages — the quote reflects the actual model, the actual deliverable, and the actual deadline.
Electrical modeling and detailing
Conduit, cable tray, fittings, supports, sleeves, and clearances modeled with NEC-aware judgment and constructability in mind. Gear, devices, and fixtures placed and parameterized so the model is a reliable source of truth for shop and field — not a rendering. Detailing to the level your prefab and coordination workflows require, including fabrication-level development where the shop builds from the model.
Prefabrication and spooling
Assembly setup, spool sheet generation, kit drawings, and build-ready views extracted from Revit with data intact. Rack and skid builds, in-wall and overhead kits, and the view/sheet standards that make spool output repeatable instead of hand-crafted.
Model setup and population
Project templates, shared parameter architecture, worksets, links, and view organization built around your WBS and your crews — established at kickoff or repaired mid-project.
Data validation and circuit integrity
Panel schedules, circuit data, and parameter chains checked and rebuilt so schedules stop lying. Automated QA checks that catch mismatches before they become RFIs or shop rework.
Sheeting and documentation systems
Sheet packages, plan sets, view templates, filters, and title block systems generated and standardized. Drawing sets that assemble themselves from the model structure instead of consuming detailer weeks every submittal.
Revit task automation
The core of the practice. Dynamo graphs for batch operations, pyRevit/Python tools your whole team can run, and compiled C# add-ins for production workflows — bulk parameter operations, sheet/view generation, model health checks, export pipelines. Every tool ships with documentation and a handoff so it doesn’t die when the engagement ends. Published work includes MCG Parameter Pusher, a free add-in on the Autodesk App Store.
Coordination and model review
Independent second opinions, delivered with an electrician’s eye for what actually has to move:
- Coordination readiness review. A prioritized read on a federated model before a milestone — real field risks separated from clearance noise, with a meeting-ready agenda. Not a 4,000-clash dump. Details →
- Template and standards review. A written audit of your .RTE or project template — parameters, families, view templates, schedule setup — with a fix list ordered by impact. Details →
Standards and advisory
BIM execution planning for electrical scopes, family and content standards, tooling and software selection, and expert-network consultation (GLG, Guidepoint, and similar) on electrical BIM, Revit automation, and construction-tech diligence.
Every engagement starts the same way: request a quote with a short description of the project and the problem. You’ll get a straight answer on fit, then a written scope.
